Descending from Caprauna towards Albenga, just a few kilometers away, we find a charming and welcoming village.
This is a small municipality still in the province of Cuneo, in Piedmont. The territory of Alto is located on the left side of the upper Pennavaire Valley and culminates in the summit of Mount Dubasso. At lower altitudes, we see a landscape characterized by chestnut groves and extensive meadows in the San Bartolomeo basin and on the slopes of Mount Dubasso.
Interestingly, the coat of arms and the flag of the Municipality of Alto were granted by decree of the President of the Republic on November 3, 2009.
